I'M CARLA. A NATURAL LIGHT FAMILY AND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER BASED OUT OF

I was born and raised on Vancouver Island. I've recently started a new adventure in the mountains after spending 10 years living and photographing in Vancouver. Just a few things about me! I love being outside, getting covered with sand on the beach and hiking in the mountains. I'm hoping I'll love the snow as much as I love the rain. I might be addicted to reality tv, and I will do anything to make your kids laugh! Being in a crowd at a rock show is my happy place, the first time I remember holding a camera was at a johnny cash concert when i was around 9! and I've been to hundreds of live shows since.

Growing up I never knew what I wanted to “be” but I knew I had to be passionate about what I was doing. I've found that passion over the past 10 years in documenting the moments, stages and relationships in my client's lives. Being invited back again and again to do that for so many people has brought so much to my life.

I will always choose connection over perfection and yes, please bring your dog so I can talk about mine.
